Cinemático is an expanded cinema festival that goes beyond the cinematic canvas, a space where the barriers of traditional cinema dissolve. We focus on animations, short films, and features made by artists who seek to explore new ways of telling stories, experiment with form and content, and challenge the conventions of the seventh art. Cinemático is a place where cinema is constantly reinvented, a gathering to discover what happens when images are freed from norms, where narratives flow in unexpected ways and expand beyond the screen. Cinemático delves into the social, inviting viewers to confront their own context. Through works that are unafraid to question the established, the festival proposes a way of looking at the world from other perspectives and, perhaps, of discovering new questions that we have not yet learned to formulate.
